Song trivia:

50Ft Queenie-
"It comes out and hits you, hits you right between the eyes. It's big and fat and horrible, and it’s how I’d like to be and how if feel a lot of the time. Other times I feel completely different, but at the moment I’m feeling like one big queen. A big fat red queen, she eats people for breakfast and stomps around in platform gold sandals. I think she’s so big because she feasts on men quite a lot, and that’s a good form of protein."

Inspired by 'Attack of the 50-Foot Woman' (more info).

Hook-
The chorus, "I'll take you Kathleen/To your home and mine," is from the Irish folk song "I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen."

On the Irish inspiration in her first songs:
"I don't know if I could say that it was the actual extremes of Irish music that appealed to me, because I never thought about that at the time. I just used to enjoy playing it because of the melodies."
