20071110 :: TOUR DATES, RADIO PERFORMANCES &MORE!
First off, apologies for my recent sloppyness in updating; I've been quite the busy-bee and didn't have the time to work on the site as much as I wanted to.
One piece of news that I (unforgivably, I know!) forgot to post about is that PJ Harvey has confirmed she is going to perform at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on November 19th; tickets did go on sale last Tuesday, November 6th and are currently available through the usual outlets, including ticketmaster.ie.
Additionally, today, Polly has made an appearence on BBC Radio London, between 6PM and 8PM GMT, performing two songs and chatting with the show's host, Gary Crowley. The show will be available on-demand for one week on the BBC website player.
Spinner.com has posted videos of a live-in-studio session recorded on the aftermath of PJ Harvey's performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York; unfortunately the (streaming, flash) videos come with a number of problems, including limitations for international users, who might not be able to see the videos at all. (I can only play the Silence video that's on the Spinner webpage, whereas the clips available on the AOL Music website are off-limits for 'my country'. Sigh).
I'll be also updating the Bootography section in the next few days, so keep tuned for further updates on that field!

I am, in fact, watching/listening it as I type, and will add the setlist once I'm done: I can tell you right away that Dear Darkness was performed, making its official live debut.
PJ Harvey's performance for Yahoo! Live Sets is finally up at the Yahoo! Music website. I am, unfortunately, unable to see it (something about my system configuration that is not up to Yahoo! 20071101 :: SERVER DOWNTIME, WOE! NOW BE ALERT: POLLY IS COMING TO KCRW, YAHOO! LIVE SETS AND AUSTRALIA! (YES YOU'VE READ THAT LAST ONE RIGHT)
As some of you might've noticed (and, in fact, did point out to me), room509.net was down (for bandwidth issues, appearently) for a couple of days: naturally, just as I was unable to access and/or update the site, news came pouring in in whips &soars. Apologies for the lateness in reporting some of these, though hopefully it is not too late. So, without further and in chronological order:
PJ Harvey's performance for Yahoo! Live Sets has yet to go live (pun half-intended) on the Yahoo! Music website, but, reportedly, it should be soon. In the meantime, I've added a review from the taping taken from the Yahoo! Live Sets Blog itself.
According to PJH.NET, PJ Harvey also stepped into KCRW's Studios in Los Angeles to perform a 30 minutes live session and interview for Nic Harcourt's Morning Becomes Eclectic show; Polly's session is going to air tomorrow, November 2nd, starting at 11AM (WCT). You will also be able to listen (and possibly watch) the show on the radio website in streaming Real Media format. Please, somebody record this!
Finally, word is (and it's been confirmed by several sources now) that PJ Harvey's going to perform a series of shows in Australia &New Zealand -- one show per each Australian capital city -- starting on February 13th, 2008 in Auckland and wrapping up the mini-tour on the 22nd in Perth. Tickets are reported to be going on sale on November 13th, through which I can only imagine should be the 'usual outlets'. More details as they come.

20071015 :: YAHOO LIVE SETS IN WEST LOS ANGELES ATTENDING CONTEST!
According to PJ Harvey's Official MySpace page, Polly is going to perform for Yahoo! Music Live Sets in West Los Angeles on October 18th. The first 150 fans who'll send an email to Invite@YahooLiveSets.com including their name, location and their reasons to love PJ Harvey, will be able to attend to the taping.
Contestants must be at least 13 years-old to partecipate; fans under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The invitation is not transferable, without the express permission of Yahoo!; winners can however bring another person to the taping.
Good luck everybody! And, winners? We expect detailed reports from the taping!

I meant to post this earlier, but my Internet connection has been coming in gulps and huffs &preventing me to access either the website or the FTP server. Ah well.
First of all, the fifth (and last) video clip from the Canal+ live-in-studio session has been made available by the folks at PJH-France in streaming and downloadable DivX format. Whatever happened to the fourth, you say? I wish I knew! I suspect the answer might be found in the site's forum, but my French is not up to the task.
More photographs from the Beacon Theatre show have been added to both 'scaredsquee' and Kathryn Yu's FLICKR sets, and I've added a link to ultra-K's set as well.
A video clip of what appears to be a TV recording of Polly (being expecially chatty and) performing The Devil at the Summercase Festival (presumably in Barcelona) has surfaced on YouTube. According to previous reports, Harvey's management had requested the new material not to be broadcast; I'm therefore assuming that the clip should come from a recent, post-album-release (?) broadcast. If anybody has further details about this, please, let me know (just remove the NOSPAM bit from the email address before sending your message off to me).

20071003 :: CANAL+ PERFORMANCE BROADCAST DETAILS, CD'AUJOURD'HUI BROADCAST AND MORE!
Details are coming in for the soon-to-be broadcast of the Canal+ live-in-studio session: extracts from the performance should be broadcast on the show L'Album De La Semaine (The Album of the Week) between the 8th and 12th of October (as confirmed here): the show airs every day at 6:10PM GMT+1 on Canal+ and each segment is rerun the following day on Canal+ Décalé at 11:50AM GMT+1. According to this post on the PJH-France Forum, the interview should be broadcast on Friday, October 12th on Canal+ Décalé, which airs at 10:15PM GMT+1.
Additionally: the video of the interview taped for the France2 TV show CD'aujourd'hui is now available at PJH-France (in streaming DivX format).

According to PJH.NET, PJ Harvey is going to perform live and be interviewed by Zane Lowe on his show on BBC Radio 1 this coming Wednesday, September 26th; the show starts at 7PM GMT.

PJ Harvey recorded a short interview and live performance of Silence for the French TV program CD'aujourd'hui (probably on the same day the Canal+ taping took place).
The clips are due to be broadcast on TV France 2 on September 25th at the following times: 9:25AM, 12:05PM, 6:45PM and 1:10AM GMT+1. You should also be able to view them online on TV France 2 website.

As noted down at Pitchfork and confirmed at the radio website, PJ Harvey performed a live-in-studio set at NRK3 Studio 19 last Wednesday, September 5th. Featuring five songs from her coming album White Chalk, the performance has been both filmed and recorded as audio and is due to be broadcast on Monday, September 10th, between 6-8PM GMT+1 on the NRK3 radio channel (and, possibly, online).
Furthermore, a video of PJ Harvey performing The Mountain live in studio has been made available on NRK3's website.

The new version of the website is now fully operative. As far as I'm aware, all sections should be up and working properly -- although I'm sure there must be some glitches I am not aware of: should you find them, please, let me know (just remove the NOSPAM bit from the email address before sending your message off to me).
Ideally, I would like to re-build the sections of the site devoted to previous touring eras, but my spare time is limited, and, honestly, I'm not sure if it's worth all the trouble. What do you think?
