THIS IS  A NON-PROFIT SITE,  MADE BY A FAN,  MADE FOR FANS. I do not claim any rights over PJ HARVEY's work and/or image. Quite the contrary, in fact.

THIS SITE'S PRIMARY GOAL is to honour PJ Harvey's touring persona and collect all available information about current and past live shows. Usually, details about live gigs get posted (and, likewise, in time, lost) on several forums, mailing lists &message boards. The original idea behind A Place Called Home was to gather all such information and stick it in just one place.

THEREFORE, CONTENTS FEATURED on this site include material such as setlists, press or fans reviews, live photographs (either by on-site or linked-to galleries) and audio &video clips (mostly links-to) from the shows, made available through various, public-domain, online outlets. I'll do my best to provide full &proper credit to each and every source.

SPECIAL THANKS go to: PJ HARVEY (obviously!), all the contributors as credited (see also the links page for a set of my habitual resources) and ROOM509.NET's webmistress for giving me shelter and paleseptembre for sharing the set of brushes that provided inspiration for this site version's layout.

AS FAR AS TECHNICAL DETAILS GO, this site was, first and foremost, graphically built in Adobe PS/IR7, then hand-coded in NotePad. It is optimized and tested on Netscape 7.2 and IE6, under a PC/XP environment, with a screen resolution of 1024x768 &millions of colours (32bit). Chances are that it should look OK in Firefox, but I don't have a clue about other browsers (Opera, IE7, etc) and/or environments (MacOS, Safari, etc). If it looks like crap on your monitor, please, let me know. I'll see what I can do. The image on top of the page is Polly Jean Harvey, from the cover of her 2007 album White Chalk.
